Biography
Man E. Charurat is Professor of Medicine, Director of the Division of Epidemiology and Prevention, Institute of Human Virology (IHV), and Senior Technical Advisor, Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria (IHV-Nigeria). Dr. Charurat is an international leader in the field of epidemiological studies of populations at high risk of HIV and AIDS. For the last 15 years, he has dedicated his research and program implementation efforts to the HIV and AIDS public health crisis in Nigeria. Dr. Charurat received his Masters of Health Science in Infectious Disease Epidemiology and PhD in International Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2002.
