Biography
Olayemi Olupitan oversees the Institute’s program in the South-Western States of Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti. She provides leadership in the coordination and management of all activities in the region including but not limited to technical activities and operations in line with set goals and targets, while establishing and maintaining good working relationship at State and Local Government levels, with partners and staff of supported Health Facilities. She supervises and mentors Health Care Workers at Health Facilities supported by the Institute and supervises over 40 regional staff for effective implementation of HIV, tuberculosis and drug-resistant tuberculosis programs. Dr. Olupitan also organizes regular regional program review meetings to ensure periodic assessment of the program.
