Biography
Dr. Md. Baki Billah has had his Ph.D degree from Hong Kong Baptist University which was supported by the Hong Kong Government Ph.D fellowship scheme (HKPFS). Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology. He has more than 8 year’s research experience on different aspects of environmental issues. He uses both genomics and physiological techniques to characterize the cellular responses of fish early life stages to abiotic (e.g., temperature, salinity), biotic (e.g., pathogens) and anthropogenic (e.g., wastewater, endocrine disrupting compounds, pesticides) stressors relevant to aquatic ecosystems. He has published several research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals. Dr. Md.
