Dr. Md. Sakawat Hossain is the Associate Professor of Geological Sciences in Jahangirnagar University. His education includes: 2005 - Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geological Sciences, Jahangirnagar University (JU), Dhaka-1342, Bangladesh 2007 - Master of Science (M.S.) in Geological Sciences, Jahangirnagar University (JU), Dhaka-1342, Bangladesh 2010 - Master of Science (M.Sc.) Specializing in Earth physics, Australian National University (ANU), Canberra, Australia 2015 - Dr. rer. nat. Technical University Munich (TUM), Germany. He got number of awards and scholarship.
Research Interest
Structural Geology; Earthquake Geology; Tectonics and Geodynamics; Rock deformation history and polyphase deformation analysis & synthesis in macroscopic, mesoscopic and microscopic scale.
