Biography

Md. Manzur Rahman Farazi, Assistant Professor (leave on study) of Statistics, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh was born in Madaripur, Bangladesh on 24 October 1981. His father name is Md. Abdul Razzak Farazi and mother name is Anoara Begum. He completed his B. Sc. (Hons.) and M. Sc. (Thesis) in Statistics from Jahangirnagar University. He secured 1st Class 2nd position in the B. Sc. (Hons.) and stood 1st Class 4th in the M. Sc. (Thesis). Mr. Farazi did his research work under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. A B M Abdus Sobhan Miah. He started his career as an "Analysis Executive" in the SIRIUS Marketing & Social Research Ltd. In 2006 he Joined in Prime Bank Limited. Then in 2010 he joined in the department of Statistics as Lecturer. He promoted as an Assistant Professor in 2013. Now he is in Ball State University, Indiana, USA for his MS program. Md.
