Biography
He is a post graduate research student at The university of Sheffield, Sheffield, UK under the supervision of Professor Neil D Lawrence. Before moving to Sheffield I was serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Jahangirnagar University and now is on study leave. He has completed his Masters degree in Human Language Technology and Interfaces (HLTI) under the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science at University of Trento, Italy. Earlier he received his B.Sc. (Honors), degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He is a life member of Bangladesh Electronics Society. He have authored a book and a number of Journal articles and conference papers. His fields of research interests are Machine Learning, Data modelling and computational Biology. Here at our lab ML@SITraN, he is trying to develop Gaussian process based models from Gene Expression Data.
