Biography
Nusrat Nahar Mohona has been graduated from State College of Health Sciences under the Medicine Faculty of Dhaka University and Completed her Masters Degree in Public Health (Reproductive and Child Health) from North South University. She has started her Physiotherapy career as Clinical Physiotherapist at Movement Solutions Brance-2 at the Prescription Point Ltd. (Banani). Her approach to treatment involves educating her patients so that they understand the cause of their pain, and the mechanics of their own bodies. Patients are more likely to follow through with their "homework" when they understand why. Mohona's clinical interests in Musculoskeletal Disorders and has a true passion for an holistic approach to health, fitness and well being. Her special interests are the treatment of office work related pain, Postural aches and pains, Neck pain, Low back pain, Sports injuries, Spinal pain, Joint stiffness, Neuromuscular Dry Needling for pain relief, Stress reduction & wellness, Shoulder impingement pain & Rehabilitation, Tennis elbow, Carpal tunnel syndrome, Plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon injuries, Bursitis, Balance, Children's growth pain, Corrective and flexibility exercises, Trigger point therapy, Scar tissue and Soft tissue pain management. Mohona has a keen interest in women's Reproductive health and Geriatric health care.
