Dr. Major (retd) Zeena Salwa

Biography

Dr Major (Retd) Zeena Salwa is a Paediatrician and specially trained in Paediatric Neurology. She is currently working at Square Hospital as an Associate Consultant. Dr Major (Retd) Zeena Salwa graduated from Rangpur Medical College under Rajshahi University. She joined in Bangladesh Army Medical Corps (AMC) in 1987 after internship training. She started her carrier as Medical Officer and then as a Child Specialist in Bangladesh Army in different Combined Military Hospitals (CMH) for 16 years. She has managed the department of Paediatrics independently for years after completing Diploma in Child Heath (DCH) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and also achieved FCPS in Paediatrics from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). She participated and presented in many national & International conferences, seminars & workshops and has several publications in medical journals. Dr. Zeena has further received intensive clinical training in Paediatric Neurology from Dhaka Shishu Hospital and CMC-Vellore, India. She is performing individual and independent patient management both in critical and chronic illness of Paediatrics including Paediatric Neurology. She is very keen and sincere in patient management
