Biography
Dr. Mirza Nazim Uddin graduated from Dhaka Medical College, University of Dhaka in 1978. After completing his internship he joined the coronary care unit of National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and Research (NICVD), Dhaka as a Registrar. In 1986 he joined the King Fahad Hospital, Medina Al Munawara Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Department of Critical Care Medicine. He also completed successfully the Residency training programme for 4 years (1991-1995) in Internal Medicine under Arab Board for Medical Specialization. In 1997 he passed the Jordanian Board in Internal Medicine from Amman, Kingdom of Jordan. Thereafter he also obtained MRCP from Royal college of physicians of Ireland in 2005.He has received higher training in Critical care Medicine and worked in the department of Medicine and Critical care in different capacities. In 2001 he was promoted to the post of consultant physician and Head of Medical Intensive care unit in King Fahad Hospital, Medina Al- Munawara. He was member of Critical Care Committee of Medina Munawara Region, Ministry of Health. He is a member of Association of Pan-Arab critical care society & Asia Pacific Association of critical care Medicine.
