PhD in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond VA in 1998. Fellowship in Medical Psychology from University of Virginia SOM, Charlottesville, VA 2000. Winner of the Funding Excellence in Science and Technology Award at UVA 2002. Elected to the Academy of Distinguished Educators at UVA SOM 2006. Serving as an editorial board member of reputed journals and reviewer in multiple journals.
