F. Michael Walsh

Biography

Michael Walsh MD, MBA, CPE, FCAP, FCAPE was the founder and President of Consultants in Laboratory Medicine of Greater Toledo, which was acquired by Aurora Diagnostics in October 2015. He has served as the Chairman of the Department of Pathology and Medical Director of the Clinical Laboratories for ProMedica Health Systems over the past 27 years. Dr. Walsh helped integrate 12 hospital laboratories into that health system. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (BS), the Medical College of Wisconsin (MD) and Farleigh Dickinson University (MBA‐Management). His training in Pathology was at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD (Chief Resident – Anatomic and Clinical Pathology) and the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD (Chemical Pathology/Clinical Chemistry. Dr. Walsh is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic, Clinical and Chemical Pathology as well as the American Board of Medical Management as a Certified Physician Executive.
