Biography

Vladimir Ulakhovich was elected Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the meeting of the Council of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on August 10, 2016.

Research Interest

Vladimir Evgenyevich Ulakhovich graduated with honours from the Belarusian State University. From 1986 till December 1990 Vladimir Ulakhovich worked at the Minsk Oblast Committee of Komsomol and, subsequently, at to the Central Committee of Komsomol of Belarus. From January 1991 till April 1997 Vladimir Ulakhovich worked at the Secretariat of the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Belarus as Office Assistant, Senior Assistant, Leading Specialist, Assistant to the Chairman of the Supreme Soviet. From 1997 till April 2000 Mr. Ulakhovich was the Deputy General Director of "Interfax" News Agency. From April 2000 till October 2011 he worked as the Director of the Center for International Studies of BSU. Since October 2011 Vladimir Ulakhovich worked in the capacity of the Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
