Biography

 Latushkin Andrei Nikolaievich, born in 1979 in the vilage Piamont, Tolochin district, Vitebsk region. He has PhD degree and is associate professor at the Source Studies Department, Faculty of History, Belarusian State University. In 1996 he graduated with a golden medal a secondary school in Zabolotsk, Tolochin district, Vitebsk region. In 2001 he got the bachelor degree at the Faculty of History with distinction on speciality “Archive Studies”. In 2001 – 2005 he studied for postgraduate degree in BSU and the main subject of his research were archives in Belarus, Poland, Lithuania and some other foreign archives. In 2007 he defended the PhD thesis on speciality “Documentalistics, Record management, Archive Studies”. The subject of the thesis was “The Niasvizh archive of the douches Radzivills at the end of 18th – beginning of 20th ctct.” The defense was held at the presence of specials from Russia and Ukraine. The results of the PhD thesis were used in the different international scientific projects, including nomination file for including documental heritage of the Radzivills keeping in Belarus and other countries to the UNESCO list of valuables of the world importance (put to the list in 2009). Since 2005 he works at the Source Studies Department, Faculty of History, Belarusian State University. He has about 30 scientific articles.
