Biography

 Kira has been at the LSE since 2010, and a visiting fellow in the Sustainability Science Program at the Harvard Kennedy School since 2012.  From 2009-2010, she was a Senior Policy Analyst at the Center for Green Chemistry and Engineering at Yale University (http://www.greenchemistry.yale.edu/).  She received her PhD in Public Policy from Harvard University in 2009.  During her PhD, Kira was a recipient the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Science to Achieve Results (STAR) Graduate Fellowship, and the Giorgio Ruffalo Doctoral Fellowship in the Sustainability Science Program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.  She has an SM in Technology and Policy from MIT, where she was part of the Joint Program for the Science and Policy of Global Change (http://globalchange.mit.edu/), and an ScB in Chemistry from Brown University.
