Biography
Dmitry Dichkovsky graduated from the Belarusian State Economic University with a specialization in industrial planning. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus. He also holds an MBA in International Business from the University of New Brunswick (Canada). He received training and internships at Harvard Business School, Babson College, Warwick University, Sherbrooke Associates of Lexington and Acton. For 12 years from 2002 to 2013 Dmitry Dichkovsky headed the company Milavitsa (Belarus), at which time the company became the largest player in Central and Eastern Europe, one of the most efficient and profitable European manufacturers and sellers of lingerie with a retail network of 700 stores in 25 countries.
Research Interest
Dmitry D. Dichkovsky's research and business interests include the strategy of companies in various sectors, including the textile industry, engineering, retail, food and beverage production, construction, competitiveness and corporate governance in companies in transition economies. His work and research are aimed at increasing the competitiveness of local companies facing international competition.
