Biography
Tatiana Saribekian has been Chief Executive Officer of Domain Russian Investments since it was established. Immediately prior to that she was an Executive in Residence at Domain Associates, a leading US-based life sciences venture capital firm. In that role, Ms. Saribekian was instrumental in the development and execution of a strategy to in-license technology from Russia and out-license products from current Domain portfolio companies. Ms. Saribekian has 22 years of business experience in both Russia and the United States. Shortly after receiving her law degree, she became legal counsel for the Moscow Land Bank, in charge of contracts, loan negotiations, domestic and foreign licensing and permits. She subsequently became head of the legal department and a board member in Lescomcenter, the government corporation formed after the dissolution of Russia's Ministry of Lumber Industry. Ms. Saribekian was responsible for reviewing and approving all lumber export contracts from Russia and coordinating the relations of Lescomcenter with the other private and government entities. Ms. Saribekian was also the co-founder and Vice-President of one of the first private lumber companies in Russia, Lespromservice, with the firm becoming one of the 10 largest exporters of Russian lumber within a few years of its creation.
