Biography
Jesper Brandgaard joined Novo Nordisk in 1999 as senior vice president of Corporate Finance and was appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer in November 2000. As chief financial officer, Mr Brandgaard is responsible for a number of functions including finance, legal and investor relations. In addition, Mr Brandgaard, is responsible for Biopharm, including biopharm strategy, marketing and medical affairs. Mr Brandgaard serves as chairman of the board of SimCorp A/S, Denmark. Mr Brandgaard has an MSc in Economics and Auditing from 1990 as well as an MBA from 1995, both from the Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.
