Biography
Sofie started as an intern at RWI in the spring of 2016 as part of the Inclusive Society area and is now working part-time as research and administrative assistant for our research director. Sofie also holds the position as the project coordinator for our newly established Lund Human Rights Research Hub where she tries to establish collaborations across the university and with external partners. Sofie has an interdisciplinary profile with a background in Global Studies and Educational Studies from her BA from Roskilde University in Denmark. Currently, Sofie is student at the Faculty of Social Science at Lund University where she studies a Master in Welfare policy and Management with a major in Sociology. Sofie also has a background from the prestigious MDP program in International Development and Management from which she is currently taking study leave. Sofie has prior work experience from local-, regional- and national NGO’s in South Africa Palestine and Denmark.
