Biography
Dr Beletskaya received her Degree in Biology and Chemistry (specialization: Microbiology) from the Belarus State University, Belarus and completed her PhD in Virology and Molecular Biology at Belarus Research Institute for Epidemiology and Microbiology, Belarus Dr Beletskaya has previously held Research Scientist roles with Serosep, Ireland (Biotech Diagnostics) and with Shannon ABC as part of an FP7 research project (BAMMBO) which is co-ordinated in LIT. She has a wide range of skills in molecular biology, microbiology, immunology and biochemistry. At BAMMBO project she focused at screening and identification of marine organisms for potential producers of high–added value molecules. She is experienced in analytical methods for the extraction, purification and enrichment of bioactive compounds. More recently, Dr Beletskaya was awarded the position of Postdoctoral Researcher with Shannon ABC.
