Biography

Production Manager Mat may have only officially joined our team in 2014 but his history with Aqua Logic began way back in the late 80's. Doug was looking for a local welding company to handle some of our titanium coils and picked the very first name in the phone book. Mat was working for his Father-in-law's small welding company when they got Doug's call. Months later Mat needed a chiller for his 90 gallon saltwater reef tank and bartered welding for a Delta Star chiller and his relationship with Aqua Logic was cemented. Nowadays Mat plays a critical role in our day to day operation where he oversees production, tracks our custom orders, monitors assembly, and keeps us on schedule. Apparently he doesn't get his fill of welding at work anymore though because he spends many a night and weekend welding in his garage like he did in the good ol' days. But with one kid off to college and the other nearly there, Mat and his wife Lesa have a bit more time for fun. Mat likes to tear it up on his snowboard and the family now takes regular trips up to the city by the bay to visit his daughter at San Francisco State.
