Biography
Viv leads Ashfield Insight & performance and Ashfield Healthcare Communications, comprising 20 agencies and specialist service divisions providing a broad range of multichannel communications services. Viv brings a wealth of scientific, sales and marketing, and general management experience from over 35 years in the pharmaceutical, contract research and communications industries. She joined Gardiner-Caldwell Communications in 1992, rapidly rising to leadership roles across the group. Viv has also held leadership positions on ISMPP committees, driving advocacy for this profession. At the time that UDG Healthcare plc acquired KnowledgePoint360, now part of Ashfield Healthcare Communications, Viv had been its Managing Director for 9 years and now continues in her role also as the CEO of Ashfield Healthcare Communications. Working with the senior executive team, she is currently responsible for approximately 900 people who work within this market-leading area of expertise.
