Biography
Born on 17 May 1960, Belgian nationality. Ann Opsomer holds a degree in law from Antwerp University and a degree in economic law from the Catholic University of Louvain. She began her career as a member of the Brussels Bar. In 1986, she joined GBL, where she held positions in the financial department and subsequently in the legal department. She has served as GBL’s General Secretary and Compliance Officer since 2004
