Biography
Raimar Jahn was born in Mainz in 1958, and graduated in commercial studies at the German Army University in Hamburg. After nine years of military service, he joined BASF's Latin America Division in 1985. He had held multiple leadership positions in the BASF's plastics and coatings divisions in Germany, Belgium, Mexico and the U.S. President of the Performance Materials division, Waterloo, Belgium 2012 President of the Polyurethanes division, Waterloo, Belgium 2006 President of the Coatings division and Chairman of BASF Coatings AG, Münster 2001 President of the Performance Polymers division 1997 Head of the OEM coatings business unit at BASF Corporation in Southfield, U.S.A. 1994 Polyurethanes and specialty chemicals sales director at Polioles S.A., a BASF joint venture in Mexico 1991 Polymers division sales manager at BASF Mexicana 1989 Polyurethanes and plastics sales manager at BASF Mexicana
