Biography
Over 20 years in the biotech and vaccine industry as scientist, commercial strategy manager, R&D program director at GSK Biologicals/Vaccines in Belgium and Canada, and CSO at Genticel, France, I have built a robust leadership experience in the development of pioneering Immunotherapies. My key areas of activities have covered antigen-specific immunotherapies from discovery/preclinical to clinical in cancer and chronic diseases, e.g. auto-immune diseases, infectious - HPV, neurodegenerative, allergy, addiction,…) through licensing deals, M&A, and FP7 EU consortiums with industry and academia as well as in-house research projects.

KEY AREAS OF INTEREST: 1) Sc. fields: Immunology, oncology, I-O, immune-related dis., neurodegenerative dis., biomakers,… 2) R&D topics: Biologics (e.g. therapeutic & prophylactic vaccines, mAb, recombinants, peptides,…), immunization technologies, discovery to clinical dev./translational res., partnerships and people 3) Projects: - R&D evaluation of licensing/M&A opportunities, R&D plans, data package, technologies, method of treatments, strategy and implementation… - Design, consolidation & management of preclinical/early development plan and strategy (in-house, collaboration…) - Executive management of R&D activities - Set-up and manage board of experts/consultants from academia and industry
