Biography
Leon Bekaert (°1958) started in 1983 as Managing Partner of Pauli Philippines ( Manila) and transferred in 1984 to P.T. LVD Indonesia as Managing Director. He joined Bekaert in 1987 as Sales Manager Bekaert Hong Kong. In 1989 he was appointed Strategic Project Manager and in 1991 as Product Manager Fencing Products. In 1994 he left Bekaert and became a member of the Board. Furthermore, Leon Bekaert is Director of several companies in Belgium and abroad. Leon Bekaert is Graduate in Applied Economics from the Catholic University of Louvain (1983) and obtained an MBA of IMI in Geneva (1987).
