Jo Vandesompele has a Master of Science in Bio-engineering and a PhD in Medical Sciences. As Chief Scientific Officer, he is responsible for the scientific progress in the company. Jo also holds a professorship at Ghent University, studying non-coding RNA biology in cancer and developing nucleic acid quantification strategies.
