Biography
Project/Scientific Officer for large, EU-funded projects on epidemic preparedness, vaccine effectiveness and vaccine R&D totalling over €50m. • Development of policy on infectious disease and public health, in particular epidemic preparedness and response, and improving European health research systems.
Research Interest
• Speechwriter for the European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, Carlos Moedas. • Strong background in advanced medical research, with a PhD in pre-clinical medical genetics, developing a treatment for brain injury and brain tumours.
