Biography
Zak Kilhoffer is an American researcher primarily interested in international economic and security issues. He works with the Jobs and Skills Unit at CEPS. At the age of 23, he moved from Illinois to Vienna in order to pursue his master’s degree at Webster University. In 2016, Zak graduated valedictorian with highest honors and the award for best master's thesis. Since 2015, Zak has worked for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Section (HTMSS) of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and taught research methods at Webster University Vienna. He now focuses on European labour market issues, notably youth unemployment and the platform economy.
