Overstijns Toon

Biography

Toon Overstijns is the Global Commercial Strategy Leader for the Infectious Diseases & Vaccines Therapeutic Area.Toon started his career in Janssen as Area Managing Director for Janssen Central and Eastern Europe. He later served for five years as Director of Janssen Germany, where he was also Director of the German Pharmaceutical Research Industry Association. Prior to this appointment, he was President of Janssen Japan for four years.

Research Interest

Toon studied at the University of Leuven in Belgium, University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, and Stanford University in California. He holds a doctoral degree and a Master’s in Business Administration.
