Biography
Jennifer graduated from the University of Dundee in 1999 (MBChB) and in 2016 with a Masters in Medical Education (MMedEd). She is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She gained her MRCGP in 2005 and also holds DRCOG and DFSRH. She is currently the Deputy Convener for Systems in Practice (years 1-3) and a GP Clinical Teacher for uTGGP. Jennifer works three sessions per week for the University – Wednesday all day and Thursday half day. Jennifer also works two days per week as a General Practitioner in North East Fife.
Research Interest
Her research interests are around feedback practices within medical education. Her Master’s thesis used video reflexive ethnography to explore the factors which influence tutor provision of feedback in experiential communication skills teaching. Her other interests are in consultation and communication skills, spiritual care in the health care setting and inter-professional learning.
