Biography
Lynn qualified as a Registered Nurse in Liverpool in 1984. She worked primarily in Acute Medicine and Cardiology. In 1995 she successfully completed Nurse Practitioner training which eventually led to a position as Clinical Co-ordinator for a busy general hospital across 4 sites in Merseyside. In 2004 Lynn returned to Scotland and began a career in Medical Research. After 3 years in a phase 1 research unit Lynn was offered a position at the University and managed a 2 year study on patients with Cardiac Syndrome X. She then set up and coordinated the Biostat CHF study for 4 years. She is now coordinating 6 cardiac studies based in the Department of Cardiovascular and Diabetes Medicine
