Massimo Brillante

Biography

Massimo is a Software Engineer and Web Developer with more than 10 years of experience in software and web development, database architecture and design, web accessibility and usability and search engine optimization. Massimo graduated at University of Dundee in 2007 after 15 years in Hotel Management on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Massimo is very lucky and honoured to work with two of the greatest departments within Health Care in Scotland: the Clinical Technological Centre and Health Informatics. Within these years working for the University of Dundee Massimo has been taking part in some of the most successful projects for Health Care, informatics and diabetes like “My Diabetes My Way” an award winning project allowing patients across Scotland direct access to their database records; “Sweet Text” a modular based goal setting text messaging system delivered automatically by mobile phone and the European Commission funded project  “EUBIROD”,  a cross border flow of diabetes information across nineteen European countries using the BIRO information system. Massimo likes to constantly improve his technical knowledge and experience in the field that he loves the most: software and web development. When not working Massimo enjoys going to the gym, playing football and supporting Napoli football club.
