Biography
Rosemary Price trained as a dietician and worked in the NHS for a number of years before embarking on her research career in 1993. She worked in the Department of Cardiovascular Epidemiology researching sources of dietary Vitamin K before moving to Ageing and Health in 2000. She completed her MSc in 2003 whilst studying the effect of nutritional supplementation on the nutritional status of undernourished older people. Her particular interests include sarcopenia in old age, falls prevention and the role of nutrition in muscle function.
Research Interest
Rosemary is currently conducting a clinical trial investigating whether prescribing ACE inhibitors can reduce postural instability in older people who are at risk of falling.
