Biography
Graduated in medicine from the University of Manchester. Started my junior doctor posts in Manchester. Moved to Glasgow where I trained in Ophthalmology and successfully completed the MRCOphth. Following completion of my MRCP, I subsequently, entered training in Diabetes and Endocrinology. I am currently in a PhD programme with Prof Rory McCrimmon looking at therapeutic strategies to deal with impaired hypoglycamia awareness in those with Type 1 Diabetes.
