Biography
Dr Samira Bell was appointed as Consultant Nephrologist at Ninewells Hospital in 2009 after completing her renal training in the West of Scotland. She is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer within the Population Health Sciences Division. She obtained her medical degree (MBChB) in 1999 and MD in 2007 from the University of Glasgow. She currently holds a NHS Research Scotland Fellowship funded by the Chief Scientists Office. Her research interest is using data linkage in renal epidemiology. Her current areas of interest are Acute Kidney Injury and diabetes.
