Biography
Jenny graduated from St Andrews University in 2016 with a BSc in Astrophysics. She came to Ninewells for a Summer Internship with Dr Jonathan Weir-McCall in Graeme Houston’s group looking into the effect Cardiovascular Disease has on the arterial tree. She was offered the position of Medical Physics Technician in January of 2017 and now works in the Clinical Research Centre assisting in the acquisition of fMRI scans and data management of research projects.
Research Interest
Her current research involves LV segmentation performed on three different softwares to see if they can be used interchangeably in different research projects. Previous research in her summer internship involved examining arterial pathlengths of healthy volunteers and patients with Caridiovascular disease to observe the effects of aging and disease on arterial pathlength.
