Biography
Damon C. Warmack is Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Chemical Intermediates. Prior to this appointment, he was Vice President, Corporate Development. Warmack is a native of Tampa, Florida. He holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Florida. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Warmack joined Eastman in 1980, working in a series of sales and product management positions of increasing responsibility before relocating to Asia. He was located in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore with a range of assignments including the establishment of Eastman's commercial presence in China, joint venture development and management, and serving as Vice President and Managing Director of Asia Pacific. In addition, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Resins, Inks, and Monomers, leading the restructure and divestiture of this business. Warmack then served as Vice President and General Manager for Coatings, Adhesives, Specialty Polymers, and Inks, and then for Performance Chemicals and Intermediates. More recently, he had responsibility for corporate development and strategic planning, playing a vital role in the company’s portfolio transformation through acquisitions and divestitures. Warmack and his wife reside in Johnson City, Tennessee. Warmack is an avid fisherman and his other personal interests include golf, woodworking, and fitness.
