Stephen (steve) G. Crawford

Biography

 Stephen G. Crawford is a senior vice president and the Chief Technology Officer for Eastman Chemical Company. Crawford was previously Vice President, Functional Products Technology for Eastman Chemical Company. In that position he had responsibility for Coatings, Adhesives and Plasticizers, Fibers and Rubber Additives Technology development. Crawford is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee. Crawford joined Eastman in 1987. He has held several leadership positions of increasing responsibility in both Manufacturing and Technology. Prior to this position, he was Vice President, Specialty Polymers and Coatings Technology supporting New Offering Innovation in Specialty Plastics and Coatings. He also had direct responsibility for the Asia Pacific Technology Organization.
