Biography
Tineke Van hooland is External Affairs Director at AbbVie. Prior to joining AbbVie in September 2015, she held several leadership positions in the Pharmaceutical Industry in the domains of Patient Access, Public Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance. Since April 2016, Tineke is also the president of the essenscia/bio.be board, the federation of Belgian companies active in biosciences. In addition, she also holds several mandates at pharma.be, the Belgian Pharmaceutical Industry Association and at the Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products, as being a member of the Commission for Advice. Tineke holds a Master Degree in Industrial Pharmaceutical Sciences. She graduated from the University of Ghent in 2003. She is recognized for her dynamic, constructive and no-nonsense approach.
