Biography
Brandon Goodwin was named as an assistant director of media relations, in July of 2013. His primary focus is on electronic media, as well as serving as the broadcast talent for women's basketball and baseball. He also will assist with media relations' needs for those two sports, along with women's soccer, in addition to coordinating the department's video efforts. Goodwin comes to FAU from Tennessee Tech University, where he spent two years as an intern on the Sports Information staff. His responsibilities ranged from maintaining Tech social media efforts to engineering and producing all athletics' broadcasts. Goodwin managed Tech's video content on YouTube and on the Ohio Valley Conference Digital Network. He was the voice of the Golden Eagle Sports Network broadcasts for men's and women's basketball, softball and baseball and provided radio commentary for football. In 2012-13, he served as the primary contact for men's and women's golf and secondary for football, while assisting with Tech's 11 other sports. A native of Lenoir City, Tenn., Goodwin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Tech in communications and pre-law with an emphasis in sports media.
