Biography
Claudia Soto joined the Florida Atlantic University spirit staff as Head Cheer and Dance Coach in the summer of 2015, and transitioned to Spirit Coordinator in 2017. She is a 2006 graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She achieved her Doctorate degree in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in 2013 and is currently a practicing Florida Optometrist. Prior dance experience includes the following: 1998-2001: Member of Atlantic High School Eagle-Ettes & Co. Jan. 1999: Super Bowl Half-time Show 2001-2002: Captain Atlantic High School Eagle-Ettes & Co. 2004-2007: Member of FAU Dance Team 2004-2005: Second Place at NDA "Open" Competition- FAU Dance 2005-2007: Captain of the FAU Dance Team 2010- 2015: Assistant Coach FAU Dance Team 2015: FAU Head Cheer and Dance Coach 2017: FAU Spirit Coordinator / Head Dance Coach Dance Home
