Biography
Jacqueline C. Perez joined the SACAE staff as a Learning Specialist in January 2014 and she was elevated to Assistant Director in the fall of 2016. She is responsible for providing academic support and monitoring academic success for student-athletes with learning disabilities or those that are struggling academically. A native of South Florida, Perez holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from FAU. She also attended FAU for her undergraduate studies and holds a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Political Science with a tract in Global Governance and Interdisciplinary Studies: Social Sciences and minors in Peace Studies and Ethics, Law and Society. Before joining the SACAE, Jacqueline worked as an Adjunct Professor of Political Science and served as a mentor for the SACAE program. As a published academic, Jacqueline is dedicated to assisting students toward their success in the classroom.
