Biography
Rudy Rodriguez joined the Florida Atlantic University sports medicine staff in August of 2016 as trainer for the FAU football team. Rodriguez has extensive experience in the field, both as part of the gameday staff with football for the Miami Dolphins, and for the last six years, as a certified athletic trainer and the injury prevention and rehab coordinator at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. While there, he worked with men’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, softball, and men’s and women’s swimming. He was responsible for launching an independent study program for the university’s exercise science students and implemented chiropractic services into the sports medicine interdisciplinary team while also instructing a clinical skill-set curriculum for the staff.
