Biography
Philipp v. Hammerstein joined the Gimv Health & Care team in 2016. Prior to joining Gimv, he has been working at KPMG in Germany where he was a member of the Deal Advisory – M&A team. During his time with KPMG he provided lead-financial and strategic advice on more than 50 projects with a distinct focus on Healthcare and Life-Science transactions. He advised various types of clients ranging from large stock-listed companies (e.g. DAX, MDAX), family-owned businesses, state-owned companies as well as private equity funds and their portfolio companies. Philipp v. Hammerstein studied in Bonn (Germany), Berlin (Germany) and Toulouse (France) and holds a Diploma from the Technical University of Berlin (Diplomkaufmann) as well as a Master’s degree in Management from ESC Toulouse/Toulouse Business School.
