Biography
The association of medical imaging consists of Dr Filip De Somer, Dr Lut Lemmens, Dr Dirk Perdieus, Dr Sofie De Vuysere, Dr Lode Janssen, Dr Isabelle Lambrechts, Dr Annick Demeyere, Dr Yves De Bruecker, Dr Yoeri Vankan and Dr Mathieu Lefere. The radiologists are available every working day between 8 and 18 hours and during the watch in function of the work in the medical imaging department. In addition to digital radiology, the department is equipped with MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, digital mammography and angiography. A fully integrated PACS system (digital archiving and transmission of images) is used. Additional information Who am I? In 2016 I started as a general radiologist in the Imelda hospital. Career I studied medicine from 2003 to 2010 at the KULAK (Kortrijk) and KU Leuven. Then I completed my radiology course from 2010 to 2015 at UZ Leuven. During my training I did an additional internship in musculoskeletal radiology at the UCL (Brussels), under the direction of Professor B. Vande Berg. After this training I started a residential project in the ZOL in Genk for 6 months.
