Extra studies: laparoscopy training in Roeselare, Bordeaux, Rotterdam and Leipzig Robot surgery Curriculum Dr. Plancke was one year 'chef de clinique' in Heerlen (the Netherlands) after his studies. In 1998 he started as an urologist in the Dodoens hospital in Mechelen. In that period he gained experience in general urology, but he also started quickly with a specific offer for children who are struggling with bed and pants peeing, especially 'pee camp' and 'pee school'. In addition, he gradually also took the first steps in laparoscopy, with additional laparoscopy training in Roeselare, Bordeaux, Rotterdam and Leipzig. After seven years of solo practice in Mechelen, he worked for three years in Gorinchem (Netherlands). There he had the opportunity to further develop the urological laparoscopy, which resulted in a regional laparoscopy team (Dordrecht-Gorinchem-Tiel). On 1 February 2009 he joined the urological team at the Imelda hospital. His current interest mainly goes to minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic nephrectomy, radical prostatectomy). In addition, he still pays special attention to pediatric urology (bed and pants), incontinence and painful bladder.
