Biography
Jim Erlinger is executive vice president and general counsel for IQVIA, the Human Data Science CompanyTM, which was created following the merger of Quintiles and IMS Health. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s global legal operations, as well as compliance, quality assurance, privacy, environmental health and safety, and external affairs. Jim’s expertise includes corporate law, healthcare, outsourcing, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, commercial law, capital formation and finance, and technology-related transactions. He joined Quintiles in 2013 and previously was a partner in the St. Louis, Mo., law firm of Bryan Cave, where he served as a client service group leader and a member of its executive committee. Jim earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He earned his JD degree with distinction from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Jim also is a certified public accountant.
