Biography
Dr Lockwood is an academic General Practitioner currently practising at the Brechin Health Centre. She graduated at the universities of Liverpool (MBChB 1991) and Dundee (MMEd 2011). She examines for the Royal College of General Practitioners. Her Masters project explored clinical reasoning skills in medical students and this work has led to development of a model for teaching this skill which has been used when teaching medical students at Dundee. She also has an interest in Rural medicine and is the lead for a longitudinal clerkship run by the University of Dundee in partnership with NHS Dumfries and Galloway and NHS Highland.
