Biography

Mrs. Hilde Windels, Msc has been Managing Director of Biocartis NV since July 1, 2011. Mrs. Windels served as Interim Chief Executive Officer at Biocartis Group NV from March 2, 2017 to August 2017. She served as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Biocartis Group NV since September 2015 until March 2, 2017. Mrs. Windels served as Chief Financial Officer of Biocartis Group NV since July 06, 2011 until August 2015 and served as its Managing Director. She served as Chief Financial Officer of Biocartis NV from 2011 to 2015 and served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer since 2015. She served as a Chief Financial Officer at MyCartis NV. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the biotechnology sector, having worked on the building and structuring of organisations, private fundraising, M&A, capital markets and business and corporate strategy. She served as the Head of Investor Relations Department and Finance Department of deVGen NV until March 11, 2008. She served as Chief Financial Officer of deVGen NV from 1999 to January 2008. During that period, she was part of the management team that raised €30 M in venture capital funding from 1999 to 2000. Mrs. Windels served with Devgen since 1999. She was regionally responsible for corporate banking at BBL (now ING), where she headed a team of 20 people and was responsible for commercial banking in a one of the Belgian areas. She has been an Independent Director of Erytech Pharma Société Anonyme since June 17, 2014. She has been an Independent Non-Executive Director at Ablynx NV since August 18, 2017. She has been Director of MDxHealth SA since November 10, 2017. She serves as a member of the board of Vlaams Instituut voor Biotechnologie (VIB). She has been a Director of Biocartis BV since July 1, 2011. She has been a Director of Biocartis Group NV since 2015. She served as a Director of MDxHealth SA from May 28, 2010 to August 24, 2011 and Flanders Bio from May 2010 to August 2011. She served as Represented Executive Director of deVGen NV from 2001 to March 11, 2008. Mrs. Windels earned a Master in Business Economics from the University of Leuven. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in economics (“Handelsingenieur”) from the University of Leuven.
