Biography
Mr. Gilles Nobécourt serves as Managing Partner at BioDiscovery 2 and BioDiscovery 3, FCPR. Mr. Nobécourt has been a Partner at Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners, S.A.S. since 2002 and Groupe LCF Rothschild. Mr. Nobécourt is part of the Life Sciences team at Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners, S.A.S. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Nobécourt worked at Russell Reynolds Associates, Inc. as an Executive Director of Healthcare Practice and from 1998 to 1999, he was with Aventis Pharma as General Manager, Central America and Caribbean. Mr. Nobécourt specializes in life sciences areas and has 11 years of experience in private equity. Mr. Nobécourt served as a Vice President of Operations and Business Development at Gencell SA and with Aventis as a Vice President of Public Affairs from 1988 to 1992. He served as Vice President of Public Affairs at Rhône-Poulenc Group. In 1992, he was appointed a Vice President, assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of RhOne-Poulenc Rorer. He was a Founding Member of RPR Gencell. He served as a General Manager at Sanofi India Limited and as a General Manager for Europe and Deputy General Manager of the Division at Rhône-Poulenc Rorer until the fall of 1998. Mr. Nobécourt joined LFC Rothschild Group in 2002. He served as Social Advisor in the French Senate from 1981 to 1982. Mr. Nobécourt served as Chief of Staff to the President of Languedoc Roussillon Regional Council since 1982, advisor to the French Minister for Industry and Research since 1983, Advisor to the French Prime Minister from 1984 to 1986 and as a Field Officer for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees until 1988. He has been a Member of the Supervisory Board of Inotrem SA since March 13 2014. He has been a Director of Complix NV since June 26, 2013. He has been a Non-Executive Director at Complexa, Inc. since July 26, 2017. He serves as a Director of Parvulus Medical, Covagen AG, GenKyoTex S.A. and PDC Biotech GmbH. He served as Director at Cellectis S.A. He served as a Director of GlycoVaxyn AG, Cytomics Systems, S.A. He served as a Member of Supervisory Board of Domain Therapeutics S.A. He served as a Member of Supervisory Board of U3 Pharma GmbH since May 2006.
